Hassan Khodaiemehr completed his academic degrees at the Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran, Iran.
He earned dual Bachelor's degrees—one in Mathematics and the other in Electrical Engineering. Subsequently, he completed his M.Sc. in 2012 and attained his Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2017. During his academic journey, he had the opportunity to visit the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, from October 2015 to August 2016. Following his doctoral studies, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) in Tehran from October 2017 to February 2018. Presently, Hassan Khodaiemehr holds the position of Assistant Professor at the Computer Science and Statistics Department of K. N. Toosi University of Technology in Tehran. In addition, he is currently serving as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Engineering, the University of British Columbia. He has a diverse range of research interests spanning multiple areas including data science, blockchain, quantum computing, lattice codes, wireless communications, coding theory, information theory, cryptography, and physical layer security.
